Yoga of Change
“Finding stability in a challenging world”
At the heart of yoga philosophy is the precept that change is inevitable and that resisting or not being prepared for a changing world, is a sure path to suffering. Therefore, much of our work in yoga is directed towards identifying, accepting and working with change.
Is it possible to remain stable in the midst of change? How can we remain calm? Are there any tools to help? According to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, a mind that remains stable at the centre of change is both possible and necessary.
How do we develop a stable mind which is responsive to our changing lives?
In this intensive, participants will be led through three steps: knowing, refining and directing the mind; in preparation for meditation where we will explore our own response to change.
Cost: $65 for the 5 meditation practices
$15 for casual attendance
