Yoga Studies
Study sessions are conducted each year on a variety of topics and are available
to people at appropriate entry levels, depending upon experience in this lineage.
Some workshops are introductory and therefore open to all, others require previous study. Students or teachers wishing to gain more knowledge and deepen their understanding of yoga are encouraged to inquire about the subject outline for each season. Class sizes are dictated by the amount of interest and the size of the venue.

Teacher Training
Agama Yoga Centre offers a teacher training course affiliated with KHYF. It will be conducted in Melbourne, Australia. Barbara Brian, Director of Agama Yoga Centre, is a student of TKV Desikachar who is the son of T.Krishnamacharya and a founder of KHYF.
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to become a KHYF Certified Yoga Teacher. They will be certified to teach group classes and general (non-therapeutic) individual classes. This course offers thorough training in Yoga for personal practice and for general health, as well as an introduction to healing and spirituality.
Specifically, the 500-hour training curriculum includes:
• yoga practice, both in group & individual
• history of yoga
• yoga philosophy
• asana theory
• pranayama
• meditation
• an introduction to yoga & healing
• teaching methodology
